As a little girl, Erica spent countless afternoons at her grandmother Lula’s side. She watched as her once-vibrant grandmother slowly began to struggle with daily tasks, her physical strength fading while her warmth, wisdom, and dignity never wavered. Even on the hardest days, Lula’s presence remained steady and loving. Through her, Erica learned early that true care is not rushed or impersonal—it is patient, respectful, and deeply human.

As the years passed, Erica took on more responsibility. She helped with meals, provided medication reminders, and kept her grandmother company during long afternoons. At the same time, she witnessed the emotional and physical toll caregiving placed on her family—especially her mother—who was balancing work, family, and the constant demands of caring for a loved one. Erica understood how overwhelming home care could be without the right support. That understanding became a promise: to become a nurse and to ensure families like hers would never have to carry that burden alone.

After becoming a nurse, Erica realized her calling extended far beyond hospital walls. Working in close alignment with the RN, Nevaeh develops holistic, individualized care plans that address the whole person, not just the task list. She designs meaningful in-home activities aligned with Eden Alternative principles—restoring purpose, connection, and engagement to daily life. Just as importantly, she specializes in navigating complex family dynamics, helping families feel supported, understood, and grounded during emotionally challenging transitions.
